Mevlana Turkish Cuisine

Tried this place after reopening. The food is fantastic and the variety has both Afghani & Turkish options. Flavourful and delicious with good portion size and quantity good to share. The mantu was very filling unlike other places, I was very impressed. They’re running a promotion of buy 1get 1 free Pide for to go, we for 1 to go. The mixed platter for 2 had great meats and kababs Fresh bread too. Pricing is reasonable too! It was a great meal and everyone enjoyed it!

What a gem of a place! I had passed by this a few times, but finally go to check it out since the reopening, thought it might be just another basic place with decent authentic food from what I had heard but what a lovely place and exactly the food I was looking for! I tried one dish of each cuisine and both were delicious, far better than other Turkish and Afghan places I have been to in the GTA. The place is big and the setting is great for large and small groups. Actually can’t wait to bring work people here!

Everything was super good. Service was great! The staff always checked on us if we needed anything, they also got us complimentary tea. The food was absolutely delicious. I loved the mixed pide so much. And the atmosphere was really nice. Very nice decor.

Excellent Afghani food, the host was courteous and recommended the best dishes from the menu. The kebabs are a must try, they are very well cooked, soft and tender.

Tried mixed pide and beef kebab with rice, both were really good and flavorful. The restaurant has plenty of space for dining, a pleasant ambience, and beautiful wall decor. The service was excellent too, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal.

Wow, where do I even begin? This was my third visit, but my first time at their buffet, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I brought my boyfriend along, and let me tell you, we were blown away. The flavor was pefect. The quality of the food was incredible and truly ethnic. Especially considering the price we paid per person was only $29.99. The buffet featured a delightful mix of cuisines, with a standout selection of Turkish and Afghani dishes. There were so many options, I felt like a kid in a candy store! Every single plate we tried was delicious, and that’s saying something because my boyfriend is pretty picky about his Turkish food. Even he was amazed, the best food! i am a truly a foodie and if you love a culinary adventure, this place is an absolute must-visit. Trust me, you won’t regret it!

Everything about this place is amazing: the food, service, decoration, atmosphere, etc. Highly recommend visiting this place! I also recommend trying the ice cream with pistachios; perfect for someone who likes desserts that are not too sweet. Thank you, Omar (owner), for the wonderful time at your restaurant.

Made a last minute plan to have a dinner with friends on New Year Eve. Food taste and quality was amazing, nicely seasoned and reasonable quantity. Very courteous staff, they ensured that we were properly attended. Slightly pricier than i anticipated, but food was enough for group of 10.
